    Joyce M. Martin, age 89, of Troy, died at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 20, 1924 in Oregon City, OR, the daughter of the late Martin L. and Alene (Hicks) Smith. She married Lee M. Martin February 20, 1946. He preceded her in death August 13, 2006. She is survived by two sons: Stanley Martin of Troy and Steven (Martha Jane) Martin of Marine; five grandchildren: Stanley Martin, Jr., Thomas Scott Martin, Benjamin Jonathon Martin, Andrew Travis Martin and Courtney Merz; five great-grandchildren: Zachary, Matthew, Macy, Layla and Kadyn; and one brother, Martin L.     Melvin C. Rull “Mel” Age 83. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, after a brief illness. Born June 5, 1930 in Staunton, IL to Siebert and Lydia (DeVries) Rull, he was a Joliet resident since 1964. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Gatling. A graduate of Southern Illinois University. He retired from AT&T in 1990, where he held numerous management positions within the construction, engineering, installation and maintenance operations.
