    Porfirio Rivera “Pete” Age 73, of Joliet, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born January 10, 1942 in Martindale, TX, he was the son of the late Arturo and Adela (Hernandez) Rivera. Pete was a member of Laborers Union Local #288 and worked for Brockman Plumbing and Heating for 25 years, and retired from KK Construction. He was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Joliet, and the Guadalupano. He loved the outdoors, working in his yard, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
