Leona Mae Ogden, 86, of Litchfield, passed away on Fri., Jan. 15, 2016 at 8:47 a.m. in Heritage Health Therapy & Senior Care in Litchfield. She was born on Feb. 12, 1929 in Oshkosh, WI, a daughter of Roy & Ora (Atchison) Craddock. Leona was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. She worked as a key punch operator at Country Mutual Auto Insurance in Bloomington and at Echlin Manufacturing in Litchfield for several years. She married Bernard Floyd Ogden on Jan. 7, 1971. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 2003. Mrs. Ogden enjoyed Cooking and baking and preparing for family events and was generous with gifts to all of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by: Several nieces and nephews 9 nephews, Joe (Fran) Ogden, Steve (Wendy) Ogden, ALL of Idaho Doug (Johni) Ogden of Butler Eric (Companion, Lisa) of Carlinville Gary (Companion, Fran) of Gillespie Jim (Becky) Tarter of Litchfield John (Valerie) Tarter of Fairbury Michael (Debbie) Garling of Marshal, IL Allan Garling of Texas 7 nieces, Jean Ogden and Kathy Ogden, Both of Litchfield Linda Wanger of Decatur Mary Jane Tarter of Litchfield Gail Corwin and Shelly (Roy) Jenkins, All of Raymond Donna (Tom) Elmore of Farmersville Several great-nieces & great-nephews She was preceded in death by her parents & husband and her twin sister, Jewell Garling.
