Helen K. Hibner

Helen K. Hibner, 105, formerly of Chicago and Palatine, IL. Helen was born the daughter of the late Jozef and Antonia (Pajak) Konieczny on January 10, 1912 in Chicago. Helen remained a resident of Chicago until she moved to Palatine in 2006. She was the beloved wife of the late Marion E. Hibner; loving mother of the late William D. Hibner, Sr; cherished grandmother of COL. William (Elizabeth), Michael (Maryanne), Daniel and Mark (Kori) Hibner; great grandmother of Demetrios, Brooke, Sophia, Mason, Emma, Ryan and Elizabeth Rose Hibner; fond sister of Dorothy Dumelle and the late Frank, Roman, Joel, Felix, John, Walter, Vicki Rafa, Clair Roos, Irene, Jenny and Sandra Miller. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Ellie (Mike) Hibner Kanis and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Helen was a participating member of the Polish Women’s Alliance of America Club, Bodine Old-timers Club and the Bobby Vinton International Fan Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in memory of Helen to the Polish Women’s Alliance Group 211 for education scholarships: 6643 N. Northwest Hwy, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60631. Family and friends will meet Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the St. John’s Chapel at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights for visitation from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Services at 11 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
