DANVILLE – Reba M. (Clift) Page, 77, of Veedersburg, Ind., passed away in the OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, Ill., on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 5:13 p.m.
Reba was born at home in Veedersburg on May 4, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Alta M. (Byers) Clift. She was raised in Veedersburg, graduating from Veedersburg High School in 1959. Reba formerly lived in Hillsboro for 45 years, before returning to Veedersburg a few years ago.
Reba worked as a library and audiovisual aide at Fountain Central High School for 19 years, retiring in 2004.
Reba was a member of the Community Bible Baptist Church in Veedersburg.
On Aug. 6, 1961, Reba married Bill Cooper in Veedersburg. She later married Jim Page on Jan. 22, 1971, in Crawfordsville.
Reba will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim, of nearly 48 years, who adored her. She will also be missed by three daughters, Stacy (Terry) Easter, Covington, Shelly (Jeff) Lindquist, Veedersburg, and Jerilyn O’Connor, Crawfordsville; a son, Scott(Jamie) Page, Lebanon; a sister, Ann (Marion) Watson, Crawfordsville; and a brother, Jack (Ann) Clift, Lake Charles, La.; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Lisa) Cooper, Kashawndra Cooper, Grant Easter, Matthew Powell, Morgan Powell, Kenzi Lindquist, Jordan Lindquist, Breanna Page and Bradley Page; seven great-grandchildren; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Cooper; two sisters, Doris Olmstead and Betty Mitton; along with a brother, Don Clift.
Reba taught her family and friends how to love, laugh and live joyfully and to not take life too seriously.
Friends may gather at the Sterling Christian Church, 701 S. Sterling Ave., Veedersburg, on Thursday, March 14, from 3 p.m. until the memorial service time at 6 p.m. with Pastors Gary Johnson and Evan Sharbaugh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Bible Baptist Church or the Paws ‘n Claws Animal Shelter.
