SARE, Sunday Sue Oct 1, 2019

Sunday Sue Sare was born on a Sunday in July of 1952, and left us on a Tuesday, the first day in October of 2019. She was a life-long resident of the Danville/Perrysville area, the fifth of six children born to Robert and Olive Watson.
Her face was a familiar and welcoming one to all. We will miss her beautiful eyes and thick white hair, her hearty smile, her kindness and her love for us.
She worked at many places, among them were the Possum Trot, Heatcraft and Danville Metal Stamping, where she retired in 2015.
She faced up to life’s challenges with determination, a bright outlook and a good dose of humor. Cancer doesn’t deserve a line in this obituary, only to say that Sue long surpassed any doctor’s expectations of how many months she would live, fueled by her desire to continue living a normal life and filling those precious days and months with her family and friends, just as she always did.
Her absence is deeply felt by her family: daughters, Tracy Carrigan (Troy Wiley) and Jeannette (Dana) Chiappinelli; her cherished grandchildren, Cody and Arabella; brother, Jim Watson; sisters, Nancy Williams, Candice Steel and Mickey McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sheila Huxted; and three life companions, Dan Carrigan, Harley Sare and Michael Fleming.
In lieu of flowers, Sue’s daughters ask “that you spend time with your children, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones, and make a toast to enduring friendships life long and beyond. That is what Sue would wish for you.”
The family extends an invitation for all to join in Sunday’s celebration of life service, which will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, in Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
