Dennis was born May 19, 1947 in Kankakee, Illinois, the son of Frank Hartwell Hertz and Helen (Walter) Hertz. He graduated from Herscher High School and later Western Illinois University. He proudly served his country overseas in Vietnam as a member of The United States Army. He married Shirley Hannaford on November 2, 1969 in Roodhouse, Illinois.     Joel “Joe” Alstedt, age 80, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 9:30 A.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by family in Galesburg.     Robert Carter Courtright, age 86, of Oneida, Illinois died at 2:48 P.M. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home in Oneida, Illinois. Robert was born on March 3, 1932 in Galesburg, Illinois to Taylor and Pearl (Volk) Courtright. He married Patricia J. Johnson on October 20, 1951 in Henderson Grove. She survives of Oneida, Illinois.
