    As an adult, Lon Lunde was a professional pianist and composer. His official name was Lawson C. Lunde, but he was better known when he was growing up in Park Ridge as “Lonny Lunde,” a member of radio’s popular “Quiz Kids.” Lunde, 83, died Sept. 5, in a Waukegan nursing facility. His natural talent for playing the piano by ear emerged by the age of 4, about the time his parents, Arvid and Evelyn Lunde moved their family to Park Ridge.
